For starters, Canada would be the 4th largest country by land area just behind 3rd place USA 2nd place China and obviously 1st is Russia. The reason for this is because Canada has a large number of water areas and lake areas. It literally has an estimated 31,752 lakes which is more than 50% of the world's natural lakes. With water aside, Canada is the largest country in the western hemisphere and 2nd largest with total area behind only Russia but that doesn't mean it's not huge, for example Canada is almost the same size as Europe. Canada is also really cold being the coldest country in the world, Not only that but Canada also has the second longest coastline with the arctic region behind (once again) Russia.
More Information
Despite being the second largest Country, Canada has a pretty low population despite its size its population is (at the time of making the article) 38 Million people making it the 37th largest by population even the state of California Has a higher population than Canada Which is 39 Million. The reason for this is like what I said earlier: Canada is Freezing cold. It's really hard to make a great environment with people in a cold environment. There is also the fact that Canada's southernmost point in the middle island is further south than a bunch of other states like New York, Vermont, New Hampshire, Ohio, and obviously Alaska but there are many other states that I can't list right now.
Conclusion
In Conclusion Canada has both a fascinating and Kind of weird geography but that's ok. Countries are Countries and Canada is just another in the bowl.
