Venus is the second closest planet to the sun. It is also the hottest planet in the sun due to its dense atmosphere. One major thing about Venus is that seemingly everything about it is opposite to Earth. It's orbit spins the other way, it is a fiery uninhabitable planet, and has no seasons.

Geographical Information
In size, Venus is almost as big as Earth. It has a diameter of 7,521 miles or 12,104 kilometers. Venus is also the second brightest object in the sky during the nighttime, (second to the moon). When Venus is closest to Earth, they is about 38 million miles or 61 million kilometers apart, but they stay far apart most of the time. On its inside, Venus looks a lot like Earth. They both have cores made of iron and mantles made of hot rocks surrounding the cores.
