Wind energy is the process by which the wind is used to generate mechanical power or electricity. William is an inventor, an engineer, and an author. His family benefited because he learned to harness the wind.
Early Life
William did wonderful things even from a young age. William was born in 1987 in Malawi. He was one of seven children born to sustenance farmers who grew maize and tobacco. He went to Wimbe Primary School up until 8th grade and was accepted to go to Kachkolo Secondary School. William was amazing even when he was young.
Engineering Story
William also made a windmill for his town. The windmill helped make water to grow crops. He made a windmill because there was famine in his town. Also, someone stole his family’s cornmeal and they were out of food. William made the windmill out of old reusable material. Some of the materials he used were bike parts, metal, and a fan. William saved the town by creating a windmill.
