Happy Pi Day to all of you. Thank you for all your support and for visiting my website. I think that it is really cool that we are making a special for Pi Day because our website is an education website. If you don't know what pi is, let me back you up on it. Pi is an irrational number, which means it never ends. It starts with 3.14159265, which is why pi day is 3/14 (3.14...). After that it just keeps on doing a bunch of other "random" numbers. Anyways, that is pi. There is just one more thing though. Pi Day is more special than just simply that. It is also my dad's birthday, so please wish him a happy birthday. Today we are going to go celebrate his birthday so this is the only article I'm writing.
How to Memorize Pi
Just like in the title, today I will tell you a trick for memorizing pi. I don't mean "all" of the digits, obviously. Pi is an irrational number so it never ends. I will just tell you a simple trick for memorizing the first seven digits. There are a lot more tricks for memorizing the digits of pi, but I will only tell you one in this post. Ok, so the trick is that you can use a fun and easy saying that even relates to pi. The saying goes like this: "How I wish I could calculate pi". The number of letters in each word in that sentence corresponds to the digit number in pi.
How to Memorize Pi
I hope you guys found that trick helpful. Please make sure to wish my dad a happy birthday in the comments section below. Just put your name and a short message to wish my dad a happy birthday. If you want to go "extra credit", put a comment that somehow relates to pi or anything you learned in today's blog. Another cool thing you can do is to let me know if there is anyone else you know with the same birthday as my dad (pi day). Stay tuned for more blog posts! Thx!
